They perform Laxmi Puja in the evening and seek divine blessings of Goddess of Wealth. Some believe that Lakshmi wanders the Earth looking for homes where she will be welcomed. People open their doors and windows and light lamps to invite Lakshmi in. Diwali is the five days festivity period which begins on Dhanteras and ends on Bhaiya Dooj. Diwali is the festival of joy, happiness, fireworks and sweets and people celebrate Diwali by setting out clay oil lamps, hanging lights, enjoying fireworks displays, feasting with family, Wish to all your friends and family
